Pistol Speed Development Course

Pistol Speed Development Course

Audience:

Handgun owners that have some shooting experience to more experienced shooters looking to improve their drawing (from holster) and speed shooting/reloading skills.

Scope:

This course is for the novice to advanced level shooters who are wanting to decrease their times on: drawing their pistol, engaging multiple targets, clearing malfunctions and reloading. This is aided by the use of an automated course of fire where we are able to capture target engagement times. This all occurs with the safe and efficient use of a handgun under timed conditions.

This is a challenging course that will decrease the time it takes you to draw your pistol and engage multiple targets at various ranges which include up to 10 round (bullets) engagements. Classroom instruction and practical exercises on two ranges will provide the student a solid skill set in shooting fundamentals and handgun manipulation skills. More experienced students will refine their current skill set in order to progress as better shooters.

Participants should be prepared to train in all weather conditions. This program can be very challenging, and participants should come to class with an open mind and a good attitude. With our personal approach to training, low student to instructor ratio, your skills will improve!

This is an 8 hour training day 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. It is highly recommend that you bring your lunch as you will have no options within 15 mins of the range. It is also recommended you have snacks if you have any allergies, we will have snacks available such as power bars, crackers and granola bars. Otherwise, please bring your own.
