North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Class

North Carolina Concealed Handgun Class

Audience:

This is a mandatory class for anyone to carry a concealed handgun in North Carolina.

Scope:

The curriculum is based on the NC Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) requirements set forth by the state. NC CCH currently has reciprocity in 38 other states (as of 06/2014, subject to change). Classroom instruction and practical exercises on the range will provide the student a solid base skill set in concealed carry and presentation techniques. Students will also have an understanding of the carry/no-carry and shoot/no-shoot scenarios.

Participants should be prepared to train in all weather conditions. This program is mainly classroom with about two hours of range time. Participants should come to class with an open mind and a good attitude.

Training day is 8 to 9 hours, 8:30 am to 5:00 or 5:30pm, with 30 minutes for lunch. It is highly recommend that you bring your lunch as you will have no options within 15 mins of the range. It is also recommended you have snacks, some will be available such as power bars and granola bars. Otherwise, please bring your own.

**Course can be broken into two 4 hour days upon request, must have a minimum of 5 participants for this option. **
